During the pandemic she found herself at home with children taking classes on line, both herself and husband working from home and in non-stop family care. One of the retreats was to escape in a studio and painting, while kids are studying. The new theme emerged, much simpler, just like a family life in a lockdown.
Anna was inspired by nature, in particularly Saint Johns county nature, sub-tropical flowers and plants, stormy skies, ocean and sun could be seeing as elements in her paintings. She is concentrating on inner light present in each of us. It is a very personal translation of surroundings into the abstract imagery, more poetic, metaphorical view of the world only experienced artist had possess. At the time when many of us are staying at home it’s very important to look for the happiness with in, and trying to level out our minds and hearts. Searching for that inner light became my mission at the times of Covid 19. I hope I will inspire others to do the same.
